Cole is a friendly and dedicated Field Technician at Good Wood. Having grown up in the area, he’s proud to work in his hometown and alongside familiar faces. Cole tackles a variety of tasks, from site prep and material handling to assisting with installations, always with a can-do attitude. He’s known for his willingness to help others and his commitment to getting the job done right. With a strong connection to the community and a passion for his work, Cole is a vital part of our team.

Mallory is a dedicated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator who has a background in project management. Holding a Bachelor's degree from Appalachian State University and a minor in Sociology, she provides a distinctive combination of technical skills and social awareness to each project. Mallory values organization, communication, and collaboration in her professional and personal life. She is married and enjoys reading, kayaking, and spending time with her family, friends, and pets. With a passion for continuous learning and improvement, Mallory remains committed to achieving excellence in her career and personal endeavors.

After years of working as a Project Manager for a premiere restoration company, John began Good Wood in 2019 with one goal in mind -- to serve Greensboro and beyond with an eye for detail, open communication and hard work. Since then, he's built a fantastic management team, subcontractor team, and has worked with thousands of commerical and residential clients. John is a Husband first, proud veteran, father, hockey player, Rescue diver who also trains JuJitsu.

Our founder, John Quakenbush is a proud veteran of the United States Army. John served our country for nine years after the devastating 9/11 attacks. He is also a devoted husband, and father of three children whom fuel his strong work ethic, and dedication to serving his community.
